Yulong Stud are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Mechanic to join the team.

Yulong is a thoroughbred stud farm set over 4,000 acres near Nagambie in the pristine Goulburn Valley. It is a family owned and operated business whose vision is to be one of the best and most influential thoroughbred breeders in Australia. We have a variety of farm vehicles that require maintenance and are looking for a dedicated individual to fill that role.

Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing on Farm Vehicles and Machinery.
n
Maintain a regular and appropriate schedule of servicing for all farm vehicles.
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles.
n
Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and identify issues that require further attention.
n
Maintain the Farm Workshop area under supervision of the Workshop Manager.
n
Purchase of Equipment or parts needed for maintenance, if required by Management.
n
Maintain accurate records of all servicing and repair work performed.
n




Communicate effectively with relevant Managers regarding repair needs and cost estimates.
n
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
n

To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
n
n
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, minimum of 3-4 years' experience preferred.
n
Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
n
Clean Valid Driver's Licence.
n
Right to work in Australia is essential.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.
n
Reliable, well-presented and punctual.
n
Excellent interpersonal and concise communication skills, with ability to maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
n
Ability to prioritize, good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
n
Commitment to safety practices and regulations.
n
n
An attractive remuneration package is available for the successful candidate, dependant on experience.
