Director of Operations - Home & Community Support

Lead a large-scale operational portfolio delivering essential community services, while driving performance, growth and customer outcomes across one of Australia's leading home care organisations.

Bolton Clarke is Australia's largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider, supporting more than 130,000 customers nationally through our Home & Community Support services. As we continue to evolve in a changing aged care landscape, we are seeking an experienced operational leader to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, sustainable business performance and workforce excellence across a major regional portfolio.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Home & Community Support, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple service locations, leading high-performing teams to achieve quality, workforce, customer and financial outcomes.

Your responsibilities:

Lead all operational, customer, workforce, quality and financial outcomes across an assigned regional portfolio
n
Lead, develop and coach Operations Managers and regional leadership teams
n
Drive performance against service delivery, workforce, customer, quality and financial KPIs
n
Maintain accountability for regional budget performance and financial sustainability
n
Drive workforce productivity, utilisation, service growth and operational efficiency initiativesLead regional implementation of strategic projects, operational improvements and organisational change initiatives
n
Ensure services are delivered safely and in line with regulatory, funding and contractual requirements
n
Build strong relationships with customers, government stakeholders, community partners and sector networks
n
Partner with Commercial, Finance, Workforce, Quality and People & Culture teams to deliver improved business outcomes
n
Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence and continuous improvement
n

About you
n




You'll be a proven executive or senior operational leader who thrives in large, complex service environments and is passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for customers, employees and communities.

You'll likely bring experience in:
n
n
Senior operational leadership within aged care, healthcare, community services or another complex multi-site service environment
n
Leading large geographically dispersed workforces and service delivery operations
n
Operational performance management, workforce optimisation and customer outcomes
n
Managing significant budgets and delivering strong financial performance
n
Leading business transformation, operating model change and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Building high-performing leadership teams and creating accountability-driven cultures
n
Influencing and collaborating with executive stakeholders across large organisations
n
Navigating regulated environments with strong governance, quality and compliance requirements
n
n
