Are you a Registered or Clinical Psychologist looking for a role that offers clinical variety, flexibility and strong professional support? We are seeking a Psychologist to join a growing clinical team, with a primary focus on treating specific phobias, particularly fear of driving (vehophobia) through evidence-based CBT and Virtual Reality (VR) exposure therapy.
About the Role
You'll primarily work within a specialist phobia treatment clinic, delivering a structured 6-session CBT‐based treatment program incorporating VR exposure.
There will also be opportunities to provide psychological assessment and treatment across CTP, Workers Insurance, Medicare, private and employer‐funded services, depending on your skills and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence‐based psychological assessment and treatment
Provide CBT and VR exposure therapy for specific phobias
Support clients experiencing anxiety and fear of driving
Monitor client progress and treatment outcomes
Complete psychological assessments, reports and clinical documentation
Communicate with clients, referrers and other stakeholders
Work collaboratively with other health professionals
Maintain accurate clinical records and meet relevant funding requirements
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
Current AHPRA registration
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and evidence‐based treatment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A client‐centred and professional approach




Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
Current SIRA registration or eligibility to obtain
Experience in CTP, Workers Insurance, anxiety, specific phobias or vehophobia will be highly regarded.
