Metroll is seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our Rockhampton team.

About The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of roofing and steel building products to customers across Rockhampton and surrounding regional areas.
This is a hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and operational support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
Safely operating HC vehicles for local and regional deliveries
Loading, securing, and unloading steel products in accordance with safety requirements
Conducting daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks
Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Maintaining proof of delivery documentation and delivery records
Providing professional customer service at delivery sites
Assisting with yard and warehouse duties when required




Complying with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and load restraint requirements
About You
Current HC (Heavy Combination) licence
Previous experience operating HC vehicles
A strong commitment to safety and compliance
Understanding of load restraint and transport regulations
Positive communication and customer service skills
A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Current forklift licence
Experience within the steel, roofing, manufacturing, or building products industry
Previous experience with local and regional deliveries
