Job Description
A growing engineering and industrial services business is looking for a Commercial & Strategy Manager to lead its commercial growth across the resources, energy, defence and industrial sectors.

This is a senior, hands-on role covering Commercial, Business Development, Marketing and Strategy, working closely with the executive team to identify opportunities, win new business and drive profitable growth.

The role:
n

Lead end-to-end tender and contract activity, from opportunity through to award and handover.
n
Manage the BD pipeline, commercial KPIs, pricing, margins and contract performance.
n
Develop and deliver commercial and growth strategies across markets and service lines.
n
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and identify new business opportunities.
n
Lead proposals, capability statements, presentations and other tender collateral.
n
Lead and develop the Marketing function, including brand, campaigns, digital content, PR and industry events.
n
Manage marketing budgets, agencies and campaign performance.
n
Work with senior leadership,



finance and operations to align opportunities with capability and profitability.
n
Lead strategic initiatives and build high-performing BD and Marketing teams.
n

What we're looking for:
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
n
Significant senior-level experience across commercial, BD, marketing or strategy.
n
Background in engineering, industrial services, resources, energy or defence.
n
Solid experience with complex tenders, commercial negotiations, contracts and pricing.
n
Proven commercial judgement around margins, risk and profitable growth.
n
Experience developing sales pipelines, CRM processes and commercial reporting.
n
Strong marketing leadership experience across brand, digital, content and campaigns.
n
Confident leading teams and influencing clients, executives and senior stakeholders.
n
