Muehlhan Wind Service are seeking applications for several Installation Technicians to join our team.
n
These positions will be based at Macintyre Wind Farm, west of Warwick Queensland, and Boulder Creek Wind Farm, near Rockhampton.
n
The successful applicants will perform the following duties:
n
n
Installation, including mechanical and electrical completion of WTG's
n
Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing wind turbines to conform with regulations and safety standards
n
Inspecting wind turbine components to ensure equipment is not damaged or faulty
n
Inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operations
n
Use of tension and torque hydraulic calibrated tooling
n
Preparation of main and minor WTG components
n
Completing of required reports on tasks undertaken
n
Completing of site specific construction or maintenance works as required by Muehlhan Wind Service of the client
n




Complete Quality Assurance (if required)
n
Undertake additional supervisory roles (for applicant with appropriate experience)
n
n
The successful applicants must have:
n
n
A Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or at least three years of relevant experience in the wind industry
n
Current GWO BST Certificate (with a minimum of 6 months validity, or willingness to obtain)
n
GWO BTT (an advantage)
n
White Card
n
Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and national police check
n
Excellent
people/communication
skills and able to work in a team
n
Nordex and/or GE Experience (an advantage)
n
Valid working rights in Australia
n
n
Full time employment working on average 38 hours per week. 3 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.
