Team Transport & Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Senior Business Development Manager
to join our growing organisation. This is a full-time position based in Acacia Ridge. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth along with the existing sales team, and developing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence in the transport and logistics industry. This role is pivotal in achieving our company's revenue targets and establishing Team Transport & Logistics as a leading service provider in the region.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting of revenue
Manage CRM database to ensure all leads and opportunities are being pursued.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive opportunities
Respond to client inquiries and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts
What we're looking for
Proven track record of 5+ years in business development within the transport and logistics industry.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
Experience with motivating and developing staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools




Strong knowledge of the transport and logistics industry, including market dynamics and regulatory requirements
Strategic thinking with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Problem-solving abilities and resilience in a competitive sales workplace
