The Learning Cottage Erina is a privately owned, warm and welcoming 35-place Early Childhood Education and Care Centre.

We are proud to be a smaller service where our educators are known, valued and supported. We believe that when educators feel happy and supported, they are able to provide the very best education and care for children.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator to join our established team in a Lead Educator role.
n

About the Role
n
As a Lead Educator, you will:
n
n
Build positive, respectful and supportive relationships with children, families and your fellow educators
n
Lead and support the day-to-day operation of your room
n
Work collaboratively with educators and our leadership team
n
Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
Support children's individual development, interests and learning
n
Create and maintain safe, welcoming and engaging learning environments
n
Contribute to the centre's educational program and continuous improvement
n
Provide guidance and support to educators within your room
n
Be an active and positive member of our centre community
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
n
Has a current Working With Children Check




n
Holds current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
Has a sound understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standard
n
Is passionate about providing high-quality education and care
n
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Is organised, reliable and professional
n
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
n
Brings a positive, friendly and caring approach to their role
n
