Ingeteam Australia is currently seeking a full-time VSD Technician. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will become an integral part of our Australian Drives & Automation Business.
n
The primary responsibilities will include supporting the LV and MV Power Converter Systems / VSDs supplied within the mining space. This position requires working remotely and onsite, involving interstate travel to sites across Australia.

Responsibilities
n
n
Supporting commissioning of current systems, and scheduled and preventative service and repair as required, with a key focus on Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and power conversion systems.
n
Work adhering strictly to all HSE systems, procedures & regulations Performing commissioning, scheduled and breakdown maintenance & service including;
n
Troubleshooting mechanical & electrical issues on solar power generation equipment
n
Mechanical & Electrical component maintenance, repair & replacement
n
Testing & Diagnostics analysis
n




Accesing remotely to systems to identify, diagnose and resolve faults and alarms.
n
Documenting all work using computer-based service reporting procedures
n
Executing assistance in the field (of the start-up type, repairs, modifications... etc.)
n
Reporting documentation to the Department (part of assistance signed by the client, cost sheets, etc.)
n
Generating reports for the client
n
Providing basic customer training
n
Remote monitoring of commissioning carried out by the client.
n
Office support to the Support department (remote connections, incident follow-up,...)
n
Generating technical work documentation
n
Proposing improvement actions
n
Ensuring safety and health in your workplace, in accordance with established procedures and current regulations.
