We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Music for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the **** school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are actively seeking outstanding music teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
Suitable applicants should be able to deliver an engaging Music program across the primary years, developing students' practical performance skills, music literacy, composition, listening and appreciation. They will inspire students to explore,



create and perform music while fostering confidence, creativity and a genuine love of music. Suitable applicants will also have the opportunity to lead and develop the school choir and school band, providing opportunities for students to build their performance skills and showcase their talents within the school and wider community..

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.



At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.

be an Australian or Current Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.

consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
