We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to direct the delivery of this complex project.
n
About the role:
n
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership from planning through to completion. You will oversee site execution, drive commercial performance, foster high-performing teams, and ensure all works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, sustainability, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities
n
Operational Leadership: Direct overall site execution, construction planning, methodologies, and completion schedules to achieve critical project milestones.
n
Commercial & Financial Control: Manage project financial performance—including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control - while partnering with the Commercial Manager on head contract administration, claims, and variations.
n
Safety & Risk Management: Lead proactive safety culture and risk management across all site activities, including SWMS oversight, risk assessments, and compliance with statutory obligations.

Engineering & Constructability: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize constructability, review value engineering initiatives,



and deliver practical temporary works solutions.

Stakeholder & JV Management: Build strong relationships with Joint Venture partners, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and governance.
n
Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary delivery teams, fostering an inclusive, high-accountability setting and managing day-to-day industrial relations.

Qualifications & Experience
n
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
n
Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience delivering major infrastructure, water, or wastewater treatment projects within complex design and construct environments.
n
JV & Delivery Background: Demonstrated track record leading large-scale multidisciplinary construction projects within Joint Venture or collaborative delivery frameworks.
n
Commercial Acumen: Strong expertise in contract administration, risk mitigation, procurement, and value engineering.
n
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Australian construction legislation, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
