We are currently seeking dedicated workers to support a participant with mobility challenges.

About the Role
You will provide one-on-one support, ensuring safety, dignity, and structure for a participant who relies on you for mobility and daily care.
This role requires patience, strong communication skills, and confidence working with bed-bound individuals.
Key responsibilities include:
Manual Handling & Transfers: Safely assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobilisation using 4 wheel walkers, and other equipment.
Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence management.
Meal Preparation: Support with preparing meals that meet dietary and medical needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and observations of any changes in condition or behaviour.
Emergency Response:



Respond appropriately to medical or behavioural emergencies, ensuring safety at all times.
Housekeeping: Perform light household duties to maintain a clean, safe workplace.
About You
You are kind, respectful, and an excellent communicator.
You genuinely care about the people you support and can build meaningful connections, including with non-verbal clients.
You are confident in providing personal care and performing manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
Key Selection Criteria:
Minimum 1+ years' experience in disability support or a similar field
Experience supporting participants with mobility needs.
Experience with manual handling (4 wheel walkers, transfers)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to individual needs
Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding principles
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and problem-solving ability
Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Build positive relationships with participants, families, and support networks
Deliver care in line with individual care plans
Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports
Follow workplace health and safety and safeguarding practices
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
Requirements
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Proof of right to work in Australia
