This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join a dynamic procurement team on a full-time temporary contract starting immediately.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services and managing supplier relationships.
Youwill have the opportunity to apply your relationship management skills liaising with engineers, the production team, suppliers and warehouse colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:




Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution
Follow up on order acknowledgements, deliveries, and invoicing requirements and suppliers
Build and maintain effective relationships with assigned suppliers
Act as the primary contact for supplier-related queries and day-to-day matters
Expedite orders and proactively resolve supply or delivery issues
Maintain accurate procurement data within SAP using Master Data

You!
You will be experienced, self-motivated and results driven.
Your attention to detail and the ability to efficiently pull together purchase orders to short timelines is key.
You'll be a clear communicator with the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders.
Experience with SAPis required.
Bring your quick and accurate data entry skills and experience with reading Bills of material and operations to this temporary role.
Experience with manufacturing and/or engineering or similar is an advantage.
