Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a motivatedRegistered Nurseto join our dedicated team inSurgical Ward 1.
Surgical Ward 1 is a 23-bed unit specialising in the care of elective and emergency surgical patients, including orthopaedic, plastics, general surgical, and trauma cases.
The ward provides high-quality pre and post-operative care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
As a Registered Nurse within the team, your responsibilities will include:
Comprehensive patient assessment and care planning
Pre and post-operative monitoring and observation
IV and CVAD management
Escalation and management of patient deterioration
Complex wound care
Coordination of multidisciplinary care
Delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care

About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working rights in Australia
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
A demonstrated commitment to person and family-centred care
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
An understanding of quality improvement and risk management principles
The ability to incorporate evidence-based practice into clinical care
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS)
