About the role
n
We are seeking a Yardman to join our team at our South Murwillumbah facility on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on operational role that plays a vital part in our recycling operations. You will be responsible for managing yard activities, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of our metal recycling facility.

Key responsibilities

Being under direction of the Manager in.......
n
Running yard operations and ensuring efficient processing of incoming and outgoing materials
n
Serving customers, Both buying and selling.
n
Helping customers unload vehicles when they come in.
n
Operating and maintaining yard equipment, machinery, and tools in accordance with safety protocols
n
Sorting, organising, and categorising metal materials for recycling
n
Loading and unloading materials from the yard trucks when they come in
n




Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised yard environment
n
Reporting any maintenance issues on machinery
n
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
n
Supporting team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture
n

What we're looking for

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks regularly
n
Someone with a forklift licence or willing to get one
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Commitment to health and safety compliance
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic

Have your own transport to get to work
