Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused
Customer Service & Dispatch Officer
to join their busy operations team in Carrington. This short-term opportunity for approximately 3 months is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, coordinating schedules, supporting customers, and helping keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily transport schedules and driver allocations
Maintain accurate records using transport management and computer systems
Liaise with customers regarding delivery times, enquiries, and service issues
Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
Monitor deliveries and resolve scheduling issues in real time
Keep calm, stay organised, and help solve the occasional logistics puzzle
About You
Confident using computers, Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, customer service or administration is highly regarded




Available to commence immediately
Enjoy working with people and can have a laugh while getting the job done
Hours
Monday to Friday
8 to 10 hour shifts
Some flexibility may be required during peak periods
