Job Description
Open Cut Mine Pump Operator within an organization involved with the management and maintenance of wastewater programs in a mining workplace in the Singleton area.

Lifestyle roster - runs 7 days a week (4 on - 5 off -5 on -4 off) from 6am to 6pm (12hr shift) OR Monday to Friday (9 hr shift). Day shift only.
n
Weekends and Public Holidays are included in the roster & paid accordingly.
n
All penalty rates payable for work over 7 hours Monday to Friday and days worked on the weekend.
n
Job will initially be for a 3-month trial period during which you will work Monday to Friday. You will be permanent if you pass the trial.

Pump training and all relevant mine site training will be provided on the job.

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated willingness and capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role.
n
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in the outdoors in all weather conditions.
n
A condition of employment is that you possess a current driver's license.
n
Have reasonable communication skills (written and verbal).
n
Have knowledge of and commitment to OH&S.;
n
Ability to comply with current / ongoing Drug & Alcohol requirements.
n
Willingness to undergo an Order 45 Coal Services Health Medical.
n
Knowledge / experience with large volume electric and diesel pumping systems.
n
Recent open cut mine experience.
n
Current poly welding ticket with experience in poly welding.
n
HR driving licence would be an advantage.
n
