We are seeking a highly motivated Exploration Geologist/GIS and Database Administrator responsible for drilling supervision and Geospatial, GIS and Database administration.

What the role entails:
n
Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will be part of a highly motivated and successful Geology team. You will be responsible for:
n
Drilling supervision as required
n
n
Administration of Chinova's Geobank database
n
Field data coordination and integration
n
Maintain the standard suite of GIS products with the latest information:
n
Timely reporting of analytical data as it becomes available
n
Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
n
GIS Management
n
Sample and despatch procedures
n




QAQC protocols
n
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology
n
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in Geology and GIS/Database management
n
Experience with drilling supervision
n
Experience in using GIS and 3D modelling software (Micromine, MapInfo, QGIS)
n
Experience in data management and quality control
n
Experience with using database package (Geobank, acQuire)
n
Ability to produce maps and diagrams for corporate use
n
