The Role
n
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team across our Town Hall and Burwood practices.
n
Clinic Operating Hours
n
n
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
n
Saturday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
n
Sunday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Managing patient flow and the waiting room
n
Providing administrative support for 5–6 GPs during clinic sessions
n
Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional manner
n




Scheduling appointments and managing practitioner calendars
n
Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
n
Processing billing and payments, including bulk billing and private billing
n
Coordinating effectively with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff
n
Maintaining accurate patient records and clinic documentation
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
n
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a general practice setting (preferred)
n
Experience using Best Practice software (highly regarded)
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
n
