The Leadership Chance

As an Educational Leader or Lead Educator, you will play an important role in building a culture of excellence across Kids Club Hamilton.
n
Depending on your role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead and inspire educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
n
Guide curriculum decision-making in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
Mentor and coach educators to strengthen their confidence, knowledge and professional practice
n
Champion critical reflection and continuous improvement

Support meaningful documentation, observations and assessment of children's learning
n
Create engaging, inclusive and intentional learning environments
n
Build strong, respectful partnerships with children and families
n
Support educators to understand and confidently implement the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive quality outcomes across the service

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for confident, motivated leaders who are passionate about children, education and developing great teams.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher qualification – or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
n
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring educators
n
A strong understanding of curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
n
The ability to inspire, coach and support educators to strengthen their practice
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
Strong organisation, accountability and initiative
n
A genuine commitment to building meaningful relationships with children and families
n
A passion for creating engaging, inclusive and high-quality learning environments
n
A strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding and supervision responsibilities
n
A commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
n
n
Safety & Compliance Requirements
n
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain all relevant regulatory requirements for the role, including:
n
n
Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
Sound knowledge of child protection and mandatory reporting responsibilities
n
A demonstrated commitment to child-safe practices
