Residency by Dillons is a boutique family run aged care facility located inTin Can Bay.
Our home provides residents with equal access to care in a supportive and friendly environment.
We respect residents' traditional and cultural backgrounds and provide an setting of peace, security, and harmony, allowing them to live creatively and independently.
Please note that this is a regional facility and you will need to reside locally to be eligible for this position.
We are currently seeking a Wellbeing Care Worker to join our team.

Requirements:
Certificate III in Aged Care and/ or equivalent.
Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
Current flu and Covid vaccination record highly regarded.
Willing to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate.
Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
Must be able to start immediately.
Must already reside locally.

Must have working rights in Australia - No sponsorship options available for the position.

Responsibilities/ Duty Description:
Deliver care and support in accordance with residents' care needs.
Read and follow each resident's individual care plans or instruction and guidance from the Registered Nurse.




Assists residents to maintain the optimum level of health and wellbeing following direction and guidance from the: Residential Care Manager, Registered Nurses & Physiotherapist.
Implement group and individual Activities & Lifestyle programs under the direction of the Quality and Lifestyle Manager and Residential care Manager.
Reports on & documents residents' response to therapy.
Encourage and enable residents to participate in a variety of social experiences.
Respect the rights of each resident to make informed choices about their participation in activities.
Ensure that the privacy, respect and dignity of all residents is upheld.
Assist in ensuring that the environment is safe for staff and residents and is as home-like for residents as possible.
Can contribute to the development of individual care plans in consultation with the residents, relatives and other support staff.
Deliver care and support in accordance with residents' care needs.
Recognize and report changes in residents' health care status.
Assists residents to maintain the optimum level of health and well being
Respect the rights of each resident to make informed choices about their health care requirements and residency.
Identify and report potential or actual hazards to the Residential Care Manager & Lifestyle Coordinator.
