Job Description
Eastern Suburbs Dermatology is seeking an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team on a casual basis.
If you are currently working as a General Practice Nurse and are looking to broaden your clinical experience, we would love to hear from you.
Previous dermatology experience is desirable but not essential - we are happy to consider nurses with strong general practice or other relevant clinical experience who are keen to learn and develop their skills in dermatology.
For over 30 years, Eastern Suburbs Dermatology has provided specialist dermatology services and professional support to independent dermatologists in Bondi Junction.
Our clinic provides consultations and treatments across a broad range of specialties, including paediatric, surgical, women's and aesthetic dermatology.

About the Role
Working alongside our experienced nursing team and consulting dermatologists, you will assist with the assessment, treatment and ongoing care of patients with a wide range of skin conditions.
Experience in areas such as wound care, health education, clinical documentation, infection control, patient assessment and assisting with minor procedures will be highly regarded.
You will receive support as you develop your knowledge and confidence in dermatology.
About You
We are looking for a nurse who is:
AHPRA registered as a Registered Nurse
Experienced in dermatology, general practice or a similar clinical setting
Calm, compassionate and confident in dealing with patients




Comfortable caring for patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds
Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
Confident with clinical procedures and documentation
Committed to high standards of infection prevention and patient safety
A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
Keen to learn and develop specialist dermatology skills
Dermatology experience is an advantage, but not essential.
We encourage experienced General Practice Nurses who are interested in expanding their clinical skills and moving into a specialist practice environment to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Assist dermatologists with the management and treatment of patients
Provide wound care and post-procedure care as required
Educate patients on skincare, post-treatment care and condition management
Manage appointment bookings, billing and accurate clinical documentation
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
Manage cold-chain storage and related procedures
Monitor and restock medical supplies
Maintain clean, organised and treatment-ready consultation rooms
Accurately complete billing for treatments, services and product usage
