You'll have exposure to a broad range of complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on corporations law, insolvency and banking and finance.

About the Role
Act on complex disputes for insolvency practitioners, secured creditors, directors and property stakeholders.
Work across corporations law, complex insolvency and banking and finance disputes.
Gain exposure to commercial and company disputes, including contractual, shareholder, property and sale of business disputes.
Work directly with senior lawyers and partners, with genuine scope to develop your technical and client-facing skills.
Join a team of eight lawyers and support staff with a robust institutional client base, including major financial institutions.
Responsibilities
Manage matters through the full dispute resolution lifecycle, from initial advice through to negotiation, litigation and resolution.
Prepare legal advice, pleadings, correspondence and other complex legal documentation.
Conduct detailed legal research and analysis across commercial and dispute resolution matters.
Assist with court proceedings, settlement negotiations, enforcement action and alternative dispute resolution.
Develop strong relationships with clients and contribute to the effective progression of matters.
Skills & Experience
3+ years PAE in a reputable litigation or dispute resolution practice.
Strong experience in commercial litigation, with exposure to corporations, insolvency or banking and finance disputes highly regarded.
Excellent legal analysis, research and advice-drafting skills.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commercial and client-focused approach.
Comfortable working autonomously while also collaborating closely with partners and the wider team.
