This is an exciting opportunity to join the City in anewly created Human Resources Business Partner role.
As part of the growth of our People, Culture and Safety Group, this additional position reflects the significant investment we are making in our people, leadership capability, workplace culture, and organisational success.
With the People, Culture and Safety Group reporting directly to the General Manager, people and culture sit at the heart of the City's strategic priorities.
In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to provide practical, people-focused advice, build workforce capability and achieve positive people outcomes.
You'll provide both strategic and operational advice across a broad range of areas including workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, workplace relations, performance management, change management, and leadership development.

About You
You're an experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships,
influencing outcomes, and helping leaders and teams succeed.
You bring sound judgement, a collaborative approach, and the ability to provide practical, people-focused advice in a dynamic environment.
Most importantly, you're passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and contributing to a culture where people feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.
What's Required
Qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
Experience providing HR advice across a broad range of people and workplace matters
HR Generalist with robust knowledge of contemporary HR practices, workplace relations and employment legislation
Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning, employee engagement, other organisational development initiatives
The ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive positive organisational outcomes
Well-developed communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
Experience developing and implementing HR projects, programs, policies or initiatives
What's on offer
Competitive Salary (from around $103K - 107K) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
A higher salary package may be available for an outstanding candidate
PermanentFull Time 35 hours per week
