We are seeking an outstanding, experienced, and qualified PDHPE teacher to join our close-knit and collaborative staff team.
This is a part-time, temporary position (3 full days and two half days, 8:15 - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday only) commencing Monday 7 September **** and running until 9 December ****, including a three-month probationary period.
The successful candidate will teach across a range of comprehensive classes in Stages 4-6, demonstrate the ability to engage and support students with diverse learning needs, including EAL/D learners, and design and deliver lessons that are rigorous, inclusive, and engaging.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons and contribute to program development
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs and maximise growth
Foster a culture of high expectations and strong academic achievement
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment
Use data, feedback, and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes
Uphold and model the school's values of integrity, respect, and excellence
Contribute positively to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the school
About you
Relevant teaching qualification (M.Teach / M.Ed) with an undergraduate degree that includes Physics
NESA registration at Proficient level
Current Working With Children Check
Permanent Residency or full work rights in Australia
Experience or qualifications in teaching Stage 6 PDHPE highly regarded
Interns with successful Prac reports and/or part time experience will be considered
