Trade Assistant | Franna | Local SEQ Maintenance Projects
If you're a skilled Trade Assistant with C6/Franna experience looking for consistent local work, a supportive, trade-led team environment and the opportunity to build a long-term career, this role delivers.
We're expanding our Maintenance Team to support a strong pipeline of industrial maintenance, shutdown, mechanical upgrade and brownfield projects across SEQ.
Working across different site locations across South East Queensland, you'll work alongside experienced Fitters and Boilermakers supporting a range of industrial maintenance activities.

What the Role Involves
This is a hands-on, team-focused Trade Assistant role supporting maintenance, shutdowns, breakdowns and mechanical upgrades across industrial sites.
You'll be involved in:
Material handling, equipment movements, truck unloading, site set-ups and pack-downs
Supporting Fitters and Boilermakers with maintenance, fabrication and mechanical activities
Assisting with structural maintenance, plant upgrades and general site works
Mark-outs, measurements, bolting, grinding, cutting and general preparation
Assisting with the disassembly of overhead gantry and rigging equipment
Operating 15T and 20T Franna cranes for lifts and equipment movements as required
Supporting basic rigging and dogging activities and safe lift coordination
Following ENAP and client safety requirements, including JSAs/SWMS, toolbox talks, equipment checks and lift planning
Get stuck in.
Support the trades.

Are You an ENAP Fit?
N Crane Licence and experience
Construction White Card




Working at Heights, EWP and Forklift tickets
Dogger and Rigger tickets (advantageous)
Solid experience in a Trade Assistant or trade support role, ideally within industrial maintenance or construction
Strong communication, adaptability and troubleshooting skills
Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented
