Convenience Store Attendant / Retail Assistant
We are looking for reliable and friendly Convenience Store Attendants / Retail Assistants to join our team at Lucky 7 Convenience Store.
The store operates from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with two main shifts available: Morning shift: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM and Afternoon/evening shift: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Key responsibilities
Opening the store in the morning or completing closing duties in the evening
Serving customers and providing friendly, skilled customer service
Operating the POS/till and handling cash and card payments
Receiving deliveries and placing stock on shelves and in fridges
Checking stock levels and identifying products that need to be reordered
Assisting with stock ordering after training
Checking expiry dates and rotating stock
Keeping shelves, counters,



fridges and general store areas clean and tidy
Following store procedures for cash handling, stock and security
Reporting any stock shortages, damaged products or store issues to management
About you
Reliable, punctual, honest and well-presented
Comfortable dealing with customers
Able to work independently during some shifts once fully trained
Able to take responsibility for their shift and help keep the store organised and running smoothly
Previous retail or convenience store experience is helpful but not essential
Availability for morning, afternoon/evening and weekend shifts will be highly regarded
