This is acasual positionbased in Townsville, QLD ****, offering flexible work opportunities for individuals who enjoy hands‐on labour and working in quick‐paced event environments.
As an Event Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our events run smoothly by providing essential support with setup, breakdown, and general labour tasks throughout the event lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
Setting up event equipment, marquees, tables, chairs at various venues
Breaking down and packing away equipment following events
Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles and storage facilities
Assisting with event logistics and coordination on the day
Following health and safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Working as part of a team to ensure efficient event delivery
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of work areas and event spaces
Cleaning and maintenance of plant and equipment
Prepping equipment for dispatch/ Stock control on return
What we're looking for
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as event schedules require
Ability to work effectively within a team environment




Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Experience in event support, hospitality, or general labour roles is advantageous
Current driver's license is required
Willingness to obtain any required safety certifications or training
