Jenmick Gear Cutting & Engineering – Gladstone QLD
This is a key role that ensures production demand is effectively scheduled, purchasing is managed, and customer orders are delivered on time.
You will coordinate planning, purchasing, and expediting functions while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the plant.
Key responsibilities
Ensuring quality standards are met
Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling for day-to-day operations
Achieving Delivery in Full on Time targets
Optimising employee utilisation and workshop capacity
Supervising and managing the workshop team
Delivering effective communication, guidance and technical support to workshop employees
Lead daily production meetings and weekly toolbox talks




Provide oversight and check job estimates against time records
About you
A mechanical trade qualification and a solid background in production planning, purchasing, scheduling, inventory and manufacturing principles
Must be technically minded with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and people management skills
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, adaptability and prioritising
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
