We are currently looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Quality & Training Manager to lead HSQT across our NSW operations.
Supporting Mesh & Bar, Concrete Industry Supplies, Meshworks and Builder's Trade Centres, this is a hands‐on role for someone who enjoys being out in the business, partnering with operational leaders and teams to improve safety, training and quality across our sites.
The role

Managing workers compensation, injury management and return to work
Maintaining and delivering the NSW training plan

Managing non-conformances, corrective actions and quality reporting
Supporting product quality requirements and AS**** compliance
Contributing to national safety, quality and training initiatives
Reporting into the NSW GM, working closely with Branch Managers and operational teams across NSW, as well as our National SHEQ Manager.
About you

We're looking for someone who can connect with people on the floor just as comfortably as they can work with senior leaders.
You'll ideally bring:
Safety/WHS experience within heavy manufacturing, steel, construction, logistics or a similar operational environment
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems
Experience developing and delivering workplace training
Confidence conducting investigations, audits and site inspections
Exposure to quality management systems and ISO ****
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, solutions‐focused approach to safety and training
Experience with ACRS, AS**** or reinforcing steel would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
Why Mesh & Bar?
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of Safety, Quality and Training across NSW, while staying close to the people and operations you're supporting.
You'll have the autonomy to improve systems, strengthen training and influence safety culture across multiple sites, while contributing to broader national initiatives.
If you're a practical safety professional who enjoys working with people and making improvements that work on the ground, we'd love to hear from you.
[Company Name] is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and identities.
Prospective candidates will be required to provide proof of legal work rights and may be required to undertake relevant, role‐appropriate pre‐employment screening.
If you require any reasonable adjustments to participate in the recruitment process at any stage, please let us know.
