Job Description
You'll be the driving force behind day-to-day operations — the person who sets the tone for the team, keeps service running smoothly during our busiest periods, and makes sure every guest leaves happy.
This is a role for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in running a tight, well-loved venue.
Key responsibilities
Leading, rostering, and motivating front-of-house staff across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
Overseeing daily floor operations to ensure fast, friendly, and consistent guest experiences
Recruiting, training, and developing team members, and building a strong shift-leader bench
Managing stock control, supplier ordering, and cost of goods for beverages and front-of-house consumables
Handling cash reconciliation, POS management, and daily/weekly reporting
Resolving customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
Ensuring full compliance with food safety, RSA, WHS, and liquor licensing requirements
Working closely with the kitchen team and owners to maintain quality, consistency, and venue standards
Driving rosters and labour costs in line with budget targets
Supporting marketing and community initiatives to build repeat custom and local reputation
About you
2+ years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior Assistant Manager in a busy, high-volume venue
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and get the best out of a team
Solid understanding of P&L;, cost control, rostering, and stock management
Current RSA (and RSF if applicable in your state)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, especially during high-pressure service
A calm, organised, and hands-on approach — happy to be on the floor, not just behind a desk
Experience with POS systems and rostering software
Flexibility to work the venue's operating days, including Saturdays and Sundays
Full working rights in Australia

Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience

A supportive, close-knit team and hands-on ownership
Genuine opportunity to grow with the business as it expands
A well-established venue with a loyal, growing customer base
