Availability: Tuesdays from 7am to 2pm

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join a dedicated support team in Dee Why NSW ****.
n
This chance is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.
n
About The Role:
n
n
Provide support to a male participant.
n
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and attending appointments.
n
Assist with the urostomy bag as required.
n
Support participation in meaningful activities at home and in the community.
n
Support the participant to maintain independence, build strength, and engage in physical activities aligned with goals.
n
Build a positive and respectful relationship with the participant.
n
Follow individual support plans and established care routines.
n
Work collaboratively with family members and follow established support routines.
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Male carers only.
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker.
n
Experience supporting participants living with Parkinson's Disease, Dementia,



and/or complex support needs.
n
Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.
n
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
n
Physically active and able to support regular outings, including long walks.
n
Someone with interests that include surfing, motorbikes, cars & engines, and general fitness.
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Driving with a full Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.
n
Comprehensive Car Insurance.
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
n
Working with Children Check (WWCC) (optional).
n
n
