Join the team of Brunswick Valley Meals on Wheels, servicing the Byron shire in Brunswick Heads. You will prepare fresh salads and sandwiches, along with some hot meals.
n
You will be in charge of repacking frozen meals for the following week and ensuring frozen food is stocked and regularly rotated for ordering and packing purposes.

About you
n
n
Minimum one year experience as a catering assistant in the aged care industry or in a comparable role and industry
n
Sound knowledge of food safety standards,



including protected food handling, storage, and infection control practices
n
Understanding of catering operations and dietary requirements within an aged care facility, including modified diets and texture-modified meals
n
Strong attention to detail and effective organisational skills to support timely and accurate meal service
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with clients, families, and staff
n
Availability Sun, Mon, Tue, and Fridays (Monday and Tuesdays are early starts)
