Chef Sofra is expanding its kitchen team and is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join us on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy kitchen and capable of preparing and delivering a consistent, high-quality breakfast service.

Key responsibilities:
n
n
Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard
n
Completing mise en place and preparing ingredients before service
n
Maintaining an organised, clean and efficient workstation
n
Following food safety, hygiene and allergen-handling procedures
n
Preventing cross-contamination and responding appropriately to customers' allergy requirements
n
Working cooperatively with the existing kitchen team
n
Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food waste
n
n
What we are looking for:

Previous experience as a chef or experienced cook
n
Experience working during breakfast or busy daytime services
n
Strong understanding of food safety and food allergies
n
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Valid Australian working rights
n
Availability for morning and weekend shifts
n
n
This is a part time position with a starting rate of $***** per hour. Pay will be based on experience. Superannuation will apply.
