At JAS Worldwide, our people make the difference. We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to lead our Yennora Contract Logistics operation and drive operational excellence across warehouse, transport coordination, customer service, inventory management and workforce leadership.

This is a critical leadership role overseeing a fast-paced distribution centre and ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of logistics services to our customers.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the General Manager, Contract Logistics, you will provide end-to-end operational leadership for the Yennora Distribution Centre.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Leading all warehouse and logistics operations across inbound, outbound and inventory functions.
n
Managing and developing supervisors, team leaders and warehouse employees.
n
Driving operational efficiency, productivity and cost control.
n
Ensuring compliance with WHS, customer requirements and company policies.
n
Monitoring KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Managing labour planning, workforce utilisation and peak volume periods.
n
Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
n
Supporting business growth, process improvement and operational projects.
n
Ensuring service level agreements are achieved and customer expectations exceeded.
n




Maintaining strong inventory accuracy and warehouse governance standards.

About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience leading warehouse, distribution centre or contract logistics operations.
n
Robust people leadership and team development capabilities.
n
Experience managing operational budgets, productivity and performance metrics.
n
A solid understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics processes.
n
Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Strong safety leadership and commitment to workplace compliance.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
The ability to make decisions confidently in a fast-paced operational environment.
n
n
Ideal Experience
n
n
Contract Logistics or 3PL experience.
n
Leadership of medium to large warehouse operations.
n
Inventory management and customer-facing logistics environments.
n
Exposure to transport coordination and supply chain operations.
n
Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience highly regarded.
n
