TLC is passionate about connecting people with disabilities to workers that can help them achieve their goals. Our Community Support Workers support our participants with social, community & recreational participation, in-home support & daily living activities, specialised transport & domestic support.
n
This is the role for you if you have:
n
An interest in supporting people with disabilities explore their capabilities and reach their potential.
n
The desire to share your interests and passions with others.
n
The ability to manage your own time and work autonomously.
n
A love for a constantly changing work workplace.
n
NDIS experience highly regarded but not essential.
n
Qualifications in Disability and or Mental Health highly regarded.
n
You will be required to:
n
Perform all duties with professionalism & care.
n
Work under general guidance from the person seeking support/their family.
n




Work within clearly defined guidelines
n
Be responsible for managing your own time.
n
Be able to work with limited supervision.
n
Perform activities requiring the exercise of sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.
n
Support our clients with daily personalcare.
n
Support our clients with community access.
n
What we need from you:
n
Demonstrated interest in supporting people with disabilities to explore their capabilities and reach their full potential.
n
Experience supporting participants with mental health and/or physical disabilities is highly desirable.
n
Relevant certifications in disability, community services, or aged care.
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC).
n
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
n
Two professional referees that Tender Loving Care Disability Services can contact.
n
Driver's license, access to a car, and comprehensive car insurance.
