Machine Operator/Factory Hand - Night Shift

Repeta is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator/Factory Hand to join our night shift manufacturing team in Riverstone, NSW. This is a 3-month trial into a permanent full-time position where you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and output. As a Machine Operator/Factory Hand, you will be part of a small team responsible for operating manufacturing equipment in the plastic resin industry, preparing feedstock, troubleshooting minor issues.

What you'll be doing
n
Operating and monitoring production machinery (plastic extrusion) according to established procedures and specifications
n
Operating forklift for material preparation and handling
n
Performing routine maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance
n
Inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards
n
Recording production data and maintaining accurate logs of machine operations
n
Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisory staff
n




Following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe working setting for yourself and colleagues
n
Assisting with setup and changeover of machinery between production runs
n
Collaborating with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
n
Assisting maintenance staff with repairs where needed
n
What we're looking for
n
Experience as a Machine Operator/Factory Hand or in a similar manufacturing role preferred
n
Forklift license is preferred but not mandatory
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
n
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for basic equipment issues
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
