The Role
Our Anywhere Learning Team delivers flexible and individualised learning programs that meet young people where they are. Through strong partnerships with families, schools, support services, and communities, we provide tailored educational pathways that support student wellbeing, engagement, and success.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Scheduling Officer to join our Anywhere Learning Team (ALT) and play a vital role in coordinating learning schedules and staff allocations that support the educational journeys of our students.
As the Scheduling Officer for the Anywhere Learning Team,
you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules for support staff delivering adaptable education programs across multiple locations.
You will work closely with team leaders, educators, students, families, and external stakeholders to ensure learning services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to changing operational needs.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving scheduling challenges, and be passionate about supporting positive outcomes for young people.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and maintain staff schedules across the Anywhere Learning program.
Allocate teaching and support staff to students and learning locations based on program requirements.
Coordinate schedule adjustments due to student needs, staff availability, leave requests, and operational changes.
Liaise with families to ensure schedules support student engagement and attendance.
Monitor staffing capacity and resource utilisation to ensure effective service delivery.
Ensure all scheduling practices comply with organisational policies, industrial awards, and legislative requirements.
Maintain accurate scheduling records, databases, and reporting documentation.
Assist with planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency.
Support communication between teams to ensure seamless coordination of learning services across regions.
About You
Experience in scheduling, rostering, administration, or coordination roles.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Confidence working with changing schedules and responding to urgent staffing requirements.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
Experience working in education, community services, youth services, or not-for-profit organisations will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Current Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
Current Driver's Licence.
