About the Role

As Director of Nursing, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversight across the service, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while providing guidance and support to the nursing team.
n
The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities and contributing to the overall clinical governance and operational requirements of a rural primary health service.

About You
n
We are looking for a senior nursing professional with:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Previous experience in a Director of Nursing, Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager or senior nursing leadership role
n
Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills
n
Experience working in a rural, remote or regional healthcare setting
n
Sound understanding of clinical governance, policies and procedures
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and confidently manage a rural service
n
Availability for the full contract period – 7 September to 22 September ****
n
