Job Description
This is a 12-month maternity cover position offering a broad, hands-on senior marketing role where no two days will be the same. You'll take ownership of the Club's marketing strategy and brand direction while working closely with the management team, Junior Marketing Coordinator and external creative and digital partners.

Key responsibilities
n
Developing and delivering the Club's overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan
n
Leading integrated campaigns across hospitality, events, membership, Surf Life Saving and community initiatives
n
Managing and protecting the Alex Surf Club brand across all channels
n
Overseeing digital marketing, paid media, social strategy, website, SEO, eDM and SMS campaigns
n
Managing campaign planning, creative direction, content and communications
n
Working with external agencies, designers, photographers, videographers and other suppliers
n
Supporting major Club events, sponsorships, partnerships and community initiatives
n
Managing the marketing budget and monitoring campaign performance and ROI
n
Managing and supporting the Junior Marketing Coordinator
n
Reporting on marketing performance and identifying opportunities for continued growth and improvement

About you
n




Experience in a Marketing Lead, Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Manager or similar role
n
Solid experience developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
n
Excellent brand management, creative direction and copywriting skills
n
Experience across digital marketing, websites, paid media, eDM and campaign analytics
n
Experience managing agencies, suppliers and multiple internal stakeholders
n
Strong project management and organisational skills
n
An ability to manage competing priorities in a busy and varied environment
n
Experience managing budgets and measuring campaign performance
n
A collaborative, practical and hands-on approach
n
Experience leading or mentoring junior marketing team members
n
Experience in hospitality, food and beverage and/or gaming marketing is highly desirable
