Join a market-leading global brand as an Assistant Accountant in our Sydney office. This role is a critical pillar of our finance team, allows you to accelerate your accounting career, develop system expertise, and build meaningful business partnerships.

What will your day look like?
n
n
Own key financial operations including accurate month-end journal preparation, accruals, prepayments, and clean balance sheet reconciliations to strict timelines.
n
Assist with statutory and ATO requirements, preparing BAS working files, and supporting workflows for corporate tax, FBT, GST, and IFRS adjustments.
n
Assist with accounts payable, processing invoices and payments.
n
Collaborate on quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and ad-hoc analysis while becoming a master user of our financial systems.

What we're looking for:
n
n
Holds a relevant business or finance degree or brings 1-2 years of practical experience in a similar accounting role.
n
A highly driven individual with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
n




Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, tax consultants, and external auditors.
n
A sound understanding of accounting principles combined with a positive attitude to think outside the box and proactively find solutions.
n
Fast-paced, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a culture that values collaboration, high performance, and celebration.
