The Role:
n
Our News Travels store offers a range of newspapers, magazines, latest release books, travel essentials and snacks for your trip. From the iconic brands of LEGO, JBL and Apple to an area dedicated to a wide range of gifts, apparel, souvenirs and locally sourced produce, stop into News Travels before your flight.
n
We're looking for Casual Retail Assistants to join our team at Newcastle Airport. If you love customer service, fast-paced environments, and making shopping fun, this is your chance to shine!
n
Good availability between 4:45AM to 9:30PM with either morning or night shifts on offer (Week days and weekends)
n
Flexibility across the 7 days desirable
n
Physically fit, some lifting required!
n
What You'll Do:

Deliver outstanding customer service & expert product recommendations
n
Stay ahead of trends with ongoing qualified training
n
Keep the store looking vibrant & well-stocked
n
Process transactions smoothly & efficiently
n
Assist customers with queries in a friendly, professional manner
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Passion for customer service & sales
n
Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
n




Confident communicator with a positive attitude
n
Well-groomed & professionally presented
n
Some retail/hospitality experience
n
Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)
n
Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
n
