Payroll Officer
n
What you will be doing
n
Working closely with our experienced payroll team, you will assist with:
n
n
Reviewing timesheets, hours worked, pay rates and deductions.
n
Processing accurate and timely employee payments.
n
Updating employee payroll, tax and banking information.
n
Preparing client invoices based on approved timesheets.
n
Responding to general payroll enquiries from employees.
n
Assisting with payroll reports and internal checks.
n
Supporting PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and other statutory obligations.
n
Working with payroll, finance, HR and operations to resolve discrepancies.
n
Working and strengthen your payroll knowledge through exposure to diverse industries and award structures.
n
Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.
n

About you
n
We would love to hear from you if you:
n
n
Have completed, or are completing, a qualification in accounting, finance or a related field; or
n
Have up to 3 years of payroll or similar administration experience.
n
Are highly detail-oriented and accurate.
n
Have strong time-management and organisational skills.
n
Can manage competing priorities and meet weekly deadlines.
n
Communicate clearly and professionally.
n
Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
n
Are proactive, reliable and willing to learn.
n
Can handle confidential information with care and discretion.
n
Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
n
Hold a current Australian driver's licence.
n
Experiences in Building & Construction Award is highly desirable.
