Tradewind Australia is partnering with a values-led disability and early childhood service to recruit Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists across Ballarat and multiple locations throughout Metro Melbourne.

These roles support children aged 0-12 years with disability and additional needs, offering meaningful, family-centred work within a transdisciplinary team. Support is delivered where it matters most, including homes, early learning settings, schools and community environments.

About the Role
n
As an Allied Health Professional, you will work collaboratively with children and families to identify their priorities, develop meaningful functional goals and build capacity within everyday routines.
n
Service delivery is flexible and includes a mix of face-to-face visits and telehealth depending on the needs of each family. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own work while remaining closely connected to an experienced multidisciplinary team.
n
This is a relationship-based role with a genuine focus on long-term outcomes for children and families rather than simply volume-driven service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Deliver family-centred, strengths-based interventions for children aged 0-12
n
Work with families to identify priorities and develop meaningful, functional goals
n
Provide discipline-specific Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology intervention within a transdisciplinary model
n
Support children across homes, schools, early learning settings and community environments
n
Help families build confidence, advocacy skills and community connections
n
Maintain timely documentation, reports and service data
n
Participate in supervision, coaching and reflective practice
n




Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and the wider team
n
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
n

What You'll Bring
n
Essential:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
n
Relevant professional registration or membership with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia
n
Experience or a strong interest in working with children with disability and their families
n
Strong understanding of child development and family-centred practice
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
n
Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Experience working in natural environments such as homes, schools and community settings
n
Experience with transdisciplinary or key worker models
n
Background in early childhood, disability or NDIS-funded services
n
n
