Competitive Base Rates: Starting base rates from $*****/hr (Perm) or $*****/hr (Casual), negotiable based on experience, plus a 15% shift loading on all afternoon shifts.

Predictable 8-Hour Roster: Consistent schedules and great balance on an alternating 2-week rotation:

Week A (Day Shift): 6:00am - 2:00pm
n
Week B (Afternoon Shift): 2:00pm - 10:00pm
n
n
Technical Growth: Expand your trade skills working hands-on with PLCs, SCADA, databases and modern plant automation systems.
n
Clean & Safe Environment: Work alongside a supportive & cooperative engineering team
n
n
Duties:
n
n
Breakdown & Diagnostics: Rapidly troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns on active manufacturing machinery, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics to minimise plant downtime.
n
Automation & Controls: Fault-find and interact with PLC systems, SCADA
n
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct monthly safety inspections, lead tagging, system calibrations, and routine preventive maintenance.
n
Cross-Trade Support: Work closely with Mechanical Fitters to assist in repair, rebuilds and equipment recommissioning.
n
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on continuous improvement projects, plant automation upgrades and safety risk assessments.
n
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Licensing: Current Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence (Essential).
n
Industrial Experience: Proven background in an industrial, manufacturing or heavy plant environment
n
Technical Capability: Demonstrated ability to read complex electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLCs, motor control systems, and automated plant machinery.
n
