About the role
n
As the Preschool Room Lead Educator, you will:
n
n
Lead the daily operation, routines and transitions of the preschool room
n
Guide and support educators to maintain consistent, high-quality practices
n
Plan and implement an engaging, play-based educational program aligned with the EYLF
n
Support children's school readiness, independence and social-emotional development
n
Ensure documentation, observations and learning experiences are meaningful and current
n
Build warm, qualified relationships with children and families
n
Maintain solid supervision, health, safety and child-protection practices
n
Work collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educational Leader and leadership team
n
Support continuous improvement and preparation for assessment and rating
n
n




Essential requirements
n
Applicants must have:
n
n
An approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent
n
At least five years' experience working with children aged 3-5, including substantial experience as a Room Leader
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and relevant regulations
n
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and hold a room team accountable
n
Excellent programming, documentation and time-management skills
n
A current NSW Working with Children Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
Current Child Protection and Safety training
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Full Australian working rights
n
