UBEECO Packaging Solutions is seeking a Commercial Analytics & Insights Analyst to develop reporting, dashboards and analytical tools that support smarter commercial and operational decision-making across our Australian business.
n
About the Role
n
Working closely with Senior Management, Finance, Sales, Production, Procurement and Logistics, you'll analyse business data from our ERP and other systems to identify trends, opportunities and performance improvements.
n
You'll work on questions such as:
n
n
Which customers and products are actually creating value?
n
Why are margins changing?
n
Where are we making or losing money?
n
Are we recovering the true cost of freight and handling?
n
What's driving the difference between actual performance and forecast?
n
Where are our operational inefficiencies?
n
What are volume, price and mix doing to profitability?
n
Where should management focus its attention?
n
How can we identify problems and opportunities earlier?
n
How can we automate reporting that currently requires manual effort?
n
n
You'll help develop reporting and analytical tools across areas including:
n

Customer and product profitability
n
Sales,



margin, volume, price and mix
n
Pricing and margin management
n
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
n
Operational and production performance
n
Freight and logistics
n
Quotation and estimating analysis
n
Scrap and waste
n
Productivity and efficiency
n
Scenario and sensitivity modelling
n
Management dashboards and KPI reporting
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems and building helpful analytical solutions rather than simply maintaining existing reports.
n
Ideally, you'll have experience with:
n
n
Advanced Excel modelling and analysis
n
Power Query and PivotTables
n
Power BI or similar dashboard tools
n
Data manipulation and reporting automation
n
Commercial or financial modelling
n
ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (advantageous)
n
n
Most importantly, you'll be commercially minded, naturally curious and confident communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
There is no mandatory finance or accounting qualification — demonstrated analytical capability and practical experience are more important than your formal qualifications.
n
