We are seeking
experienced Mental Health Support Workers
to join our team and provide exceptional care within a
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
workplace.
Mental Health Support Workers – Newcastle & Hunter Region
Requirements:
Experience in mental health and trauma-informed support
Preferable experience in nursing or supporting complex health needs
Skills with complex medical presentations
Experience supporting participants with complex mental health needs
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team delivering therapeutic supports
Experience implementing allied health plans, including mealtime management plans
Solid understanding of restrictive practices and behaviour support plans
Experience delivering goal-focused supports with a strong capacity-building approach
