Position Description
n
If you know pick & carry cranes, can fault-find properly and enjoy solving problems, this is a role worth looking at. This Product Support Technician position isn't a role where you'll spend every day on the tools, and it's not purely office-based either, but an ideal blend perfectly suited to an experience crane mechanic looking for the next step in their career. Genuine pick & carry crane experience is required, someone who understands the equipment technically and can use that knowledge to support customers, production and the service team. A big part of the role is technical support.

Customers will call when they have an issue with a machine, production or service might need help diagnosing a fault.



Sometimes you'll be able to resolve it over the phone, other times you'll need to get involved directly.

You'll be responsible for:
n
Providing technical and product support to customers.
n
Supporting the Production and Service teams with technical issues.
n
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
n
Troubleshooting equipment issues and working through practical solutions.
n
Assisting with field and offsite repairs when required.
n
Providing after-hours telephone support to customers when required.
n
Assisting with technical training for internal staff.
n
Sharing your knowledge and experience across the wider business.
n
Candidate Requirements
n
Strong hands-on experience with pick & carry mobile cranes.
n
Good electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
n
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
n
CN – Non-Slewing Mobile Crane licence.
n
Good communication and customer service skills.
n
The ability to work comfortably with customers, technicians and internal departments.
n
A willingness to work between the office and the field when required.
n
Australian Citizen or Permanent resident preferred, however open to sponsor an experienced Pick & Carry Crane expert, but you'll have to be able to impress me.
