The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity is available for an Associate to Senior Associate Family Lawyer to join an established and growing Sydney team.
n
This role would suit a lawyer who wants to work on interesting and challenging family law matters while being part of an workplace that provides the support, flexibility and career development needed to build a long-term career.

You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters with appropriate autonomy while working alongside experienced practitioners on more complex files.
n
For a Senior Associate, there is scope to take on greater responsibility across complex matters, client relationships, mentoring and team development.

The Work
n
The practice advises across a broad range of family law matters, including:
n

Complex property and financial settlements
n




Parenting and children's matters
n
Divorce and separationBinding Financial Agreements
n
Spousal maintenance
n
Child support
n
Negotiations and mediations
n
Court proceedings and litigation
n
Drafting agreements, affidavits and court documents
n
n
The level of autonomy and complexity will be tailored to your experience.

About You
n
We are interested in speaking with Family Lawyers operating from Associate through to Senior Associate level.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Solid Australian family law experience
n
Experience independently managing matters
n
Strong exposure to parenting and/or property matters
n
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
n
Litigation and dispute resolution experience
n
Confidence managing clients through sensitive and complex matters
n
A practical and solutions-focused approach
n
An interest in continuing to develop your family law career
n
